Introduction to Pastel Painting with Katie Hallahan

Join us for an exciting workshop led by the talented Katie Hallahan! This hands-on session is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, offering a deep dive into the art of pastel painting. Katie will guide you through the basics, covering everything from materials and techniques to mark making, color theory and layering so you can create your own beautiful pastel masterpiece by the end of the class. Students will be responsible for bringing their own supplies based on a recommended supply list which will be provided after registration is completed. We'll also take a 30 minute break for lunch so don't forget to bring a bagged lunch to enjoy during the break.
